The design features a stormy sea that flows across the helmet to represent the relentless and unpredictable nature of ALS - powerful, consuming, and unyielding. Within that storm, there is a small island with cornflowers, which are a symbol of resilience. Standing tall on the island is a lighthouse, casting a radiant beacon of light across the waves to represent hope. The whole design is centred around the strength of the community, new research, and love guiding the way forward even in the darkest storms.
